If you are looking for Denver Nuggets basketball
tickets, TicketOwl.com has them. We have NBA tickets for
every game on the Denver Nuggets 2009 - 2010 schedule at
the Pepsi Center.
The Denver Nuggets Game Tickets had a very successful season in
08-09 despite losing to the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals.
Denver finished the regular season 1st in the Northwest division at 54-28.
Denver was an excellent home team, 33-8, but an average road team at only 21-20.
Denver was a top 6 team in scoring averaging with 104 points per game. The knock
on Denver for many years was they can score but refused to play defense - this
wasn't the case because Denver was 18th is defense.
If a non-sports fan took a quick check at the 2006 Western
Conference Standings and then the Playoff bracket, they would scratch their
heads in disbelief. The Dallas Mavericks had the second best record in the
conference at 60-22, three games behind conference leading San Antonio. The
Denver Nuggets Game Tickets were 44-38, 19 games behind San Antonio. Yet, come playoff time
the Nuggets were the #3 seed while the Mavericks were the #4 seed. All because
Dallas happens to play in the same division as San Antonio and the top three
seeds HAVE TO be division winners. So now Dallas and San Antonio are meeting in
the second round of the playoffs as opposed to the Western Conference
Championship, where the two best teams should be meeting.
One who provided much "entertainment" for the Denver Nuggets Game Tickets
was Chris "The Birdman" Andersen off the bench. The Birdman has become one of
the best shot blockers averaging nearly 3 blocks per game. Look for him to have
another great defensive season. The Denver Nuggets Game Tickets do have NBA Finals potential.
But if they expect to make it there it seems as if they will have to go through
the Lakers once again, Denver should improve as a team overall in 09-10.
The Denver Nuggets Game Tickets are what we used to refer to in high
school as a, "late bloomer" you know when a kid comes back from summer senior
year and he's grown a foot and a half and is barely recognizable as the midget
you and your buddies used to pick on? That's Denver, a team that should have
been able to defend itself against the bullies of the competitive western
conference but instead could only muster up a total of four playoff wins in the
past five NBA post seasons, that is until big brother Chancey Billups arrived in
town to help stickup for the adolescent leader of the team Carmelo Anthony. Last
season the Nuggets' gelled at just the right time and started playing their best
ball heading into the post season giving up two of their last eleven games and
only two losses in the first two rounds of the post season. However, there were
several factories playing into their near finals trip other than just their
strong play in the post season, starting with their playoff seeding.
Allen Iverson made his return against his old team the Denver
Nuggets tonight and tallied 11 points. Iverson appears to be in great
shape....but not basketball shape. For any of my readers knows what it means to
play ball but not be in basketball shape, then you know how AI feels tonight.
One play Chauncey Billups drove right, crossed left between the legs which left
Iverson flat on his butt. That is the below the rim highlight of the night.
During the past few seasons, the Denver Nuggets Game Tickets have been one
of those teams that generally plays respectable basketball, finishes the season
with a winning record, makes the playoffs, and exits in the first round.
Basketball fans had become accustomed to seeing this take place on a yearly
basis, so people were surprised (to say the least) to witness the run that the
Denver Nuggets Game Tickets embarked on during the 2009 NBA playoffs.
In the last few NBA post-seasons there is inevitably a team
ready to break out and establish themselves as a "legitimate" contenders by
winning an upset or two and pushing further than they were projected. In the
2008 playoffs the New Orleans Hornets were the big story after a seemingly
effortless dispatching of the Dallas Mavericks in round one and a game 7
showdown with the defending champion San Antonio Spurs, however in last year's
playoffs they only managed to squeak out a two point victory over the Denver
Nuggets. In the 2007 playoffs the Cleveland Cavaliers took the world by storm on
the steam of LeBron James and his 25 strait points in a double overtime win in
Detroit to take the momentum and Conference finals victory to send the Cavs to
their first ever NBA championship, in the following season they were hampered by
the contract holdouts of Anderson Varejao and Sasha Pavlovic which severely
crippled the team's chemistry which as we all saw last season is how the Cavs
make up for their lack evenly distributed talent.
Melo's 25 and Lala 30, so they are five years apart in age
and their son is two years old. Lala has a career as a TV personality and
continues to various work related. Melo, continues playing with the Denver
Nuggets, who he has been with since 2003.
The San Antonio Spurs have added Richard Jefferson, the
Dallas Mavericks added Shawn Marion, and the Los Angeles Lakers added Ron Artest.
The Denver Nuggets Game Tickets have the same core of players that had last season and it
wasn't enough to beat the Lakers, maybe Denver can add one more piece to their
team to give them a better chance this season.
The Denver Nuggets Game Tickets are in a loaded Western Conference so
taking the next step to the NBA Finals will be no easy feet. This potentially
could be the MVP season Carmelo Anthony which he hasn't had yet - granted
Carmelo is still only 25 but his prime years are fast approaching. This could be
the year of Carmelo, he be talked about in the same breathe as Lebron James and
Kobe Bryant as the games best all around player, not just the best scorer in the
league.
The Portland Trailblazers were the NBA's darling team of the
season in 08'-09'. The Blazers didn't have the playoff performance they were
hoping for but will build off that and be a better team for it. The Blazers
finished tied for the Northwest division at 54-28 with the Denver Nuggets Game Tickets - but
because the Nuggets had a better division record the technically won the
division. The Blazers finished 14th in scoring and 4th in scoring defense last
season.
Carmelo Anthony began his professional basketball career in
2003 after being drafted third by the Denver Nuggets Game Tickets. During an outstanding
rookie season, Anthony played in all 82 seasonal games and averaged 21 points
per game. He received a unanimous vote for the NBA All-Rookie First Team and
became the first NBA rookie to lead a playoff team in scoring since the
1989-1990 season. In 2004, he won a bronze medal as a member of Team USA during
the 2004 Summer Olympics.
The most shocking reason for this all stems from the fact
that the Nuggets had traded Allen Iverson, the team's second highest scorer, to
the Detroit Pistons. Having already lost Marcus Camby, one of the best
rebounders and shot blockers in the NBA, it seemed like the Denver Nuggets Game Tickets were
simply throwing in the towel.
They devote their life to charities and being a good person.
Even sports teams like the Denver Nuggets Game Tickets have fallen victim to this ridiculous
tattoo stigma. The Denver Nuggets Game Tickets is one of the most tattooed NBA teams out
there and just recently people have started to call them the Denver Thuggests
instead of the Nuggets, simply because everyone on the team has tattoos.
The Denver Nuggets Game Tickets were one of the surprising teams of the
NBA last season. Not many expected the Denver Nuggets Game Tickets - who were notorious for
losing in the first round it seems - to make it to the Western Conference
Finals. The Nuggets were out manned and out played against the Lakers but that
still doesn't take away from the excellent season they had. The Nuggets look to
improve on this upcoming season and make it to the finals.
It's not probable that the Magic will make a return to the
NBA finals or even that the Denver Nuggets Game Tickets will return to the conference finals.
There's a pretty good probability that they'll go through some growing pains
over the next season as wells as struggle with there new identity among the
NBA's elite, but the goods news is they're for the most part young teams with a
lot of time to learn and grow into champions but as they now know EVERYTHING has
to go the right way to win it all. One could easily argue that if not for a
steal in the final 30 seconds of game 1 in the WCF or if a couple shots rattled
in during the two over-time losses in the NBA finals, history might be different
for the Nuggets and Magic. There's always next year, right?
When Iverson left Philly it was on a bad term, he wanted to
win a championship and the team were looking to rebuild at the time. Finally
after ten seasons both parties decided to go separate ways and Iverson was
traded to the Denver Nuggets Game Tickets. After a season and a half playing along side
Carmelo Anthony and becoming the top two duo in the league Iverson was traded to
the Detroit Pistons for guard Chauncey Billups, forward Antonio McDyess and
center Cheikh Samb, but quickly Iverson and Pistons head coach Michael Curry did
not see eye to eye and Iverson was released at the end of the season.
